After numerous comments like "skullet", "mullet", and "party in the back", as well as hair way past his collar in the back, we decided to give Joshua his first haircut on Wednesday night. Peter wanted to do it himself and he did a great job, under the circumstances. And those circumstances were a very wiggly, almost 1 year old boy, who desperatly wanted to see what his daddy was doing behind him.
We first tried to do it with Joshua sitting in his jitter buggy car so that I could have my hands free to video or take pictures. It didn't take long to realize that he wasn't going to sit still on his own!
I held, or tried to hold him for the rest of the haircut. Here is the finished product. After the craziness, Peter decided that going to a hairdresser would be a better option next time!
Peter showed Joshua the locks that were forever gone from his head!
Here is a sweet picture from this week. Joshua fell asleep while watching one of his Baby Einstein videos. If any of you know me, he is taking after his Mommy! There aren't many movies that I have watched to completion.

Not only do you fall asleep during movies, but also any time you're in the car, so yes, he is just like his mommy! Looking forward to this weekend! It's what has kept me going for the past few weeks!
